There was a time when I believed that I would be an accomplished and famous writer, (replace writer with other faculties such as: art critic, actress, political philosopher or theologian) and Mr. Robson said that I might actually change things.

There should probably be more on this, but I'm going to bed. Long story short, I feel mediocre. I feel mediocre a lot.

Lauren, you are good at a lot of things. Pick the one that makes you the most happy, and you will make a difference. I'm not saying you're going to change the entire world, but maybe you will. I thinki t was Lao Tzu or Confucius who said "A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.
I think a lot of people who did/do change the world don't think "I shall change the world!" They deal with a problem they see and try and fix it. Ghandi, for example. And you don't have to be world-renown to make a difference. Look at our teachers.
Everyone feels mediocre at times, and everyone feels like they're a big waste of space sometimes (i.e. me). It's all to do with how stupidly optimistic you are and how weedlike hope manages to be.
Now, I must hie me away to write a paper and a scene. I'm not sure which characters to write about. Hmmm.
